Hi! I’m Keri. I live in Duvall, Washington with my wonderful husband and two beautiful young boys – a three and four year old. I LOVE being a mom and I love children. We have a wonderful little studio on our property right next to our home, perfect for those rainy Seattle days.
I shoot with a Nikon D700 and a variety of lenses, but my favorite lens is my 50mm f/1.4.
My digital darkroom consists of ACR and Photoshop CS5.
Fun Facts about Me:
I have an enormous black lab, named Maverick. My kids love to hang all over him.
I am a Starbucks addict…seriously, I need a 12 step program.
I am married to my best friend.
I love Glee & Grey’s Anatomy.
I love all music, but my fave is country music…the old country music. I sing at the top of my lungs in my car…alone.
I straighten my hair every day…that is if I get a shower in.
I have a master’s degree in childhood education – I used to teach grade school.
My favorite dessert is blackberry pie….or cheesecake.
I wear the same jewelry every day and never take them off. My diamond earrings were a wedding gift from my mother and my necklace is made from a diamond ring worn by my late grandmother. I miss her terribly – she was a wonderful woman.
I used to be incredibly organized…then I had children.
I love my family and friends – deeply. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.
I wish I knew how to play the piano.

Keri Meyers is Seattles’s leading newborn photographer with a unique and classic style that has greatly impacted the newborn photography industry. Photographers world wide travel to her Duvall, Washington Studio for the opportunity to learn and mentor under her…with hopes of gaining the knowledge, tips and tricks that make her one of the most successful and sought after photographers in her field. Keri has personally mentored and educated over 150 photographers worldwide over the last year, and has influenced hundreds of thousands of photographers through social media outlets such as Facebook and Twitter. Her willingness to help others learn and grow in the field is what brings the most joy to her. Sharing her passion of newborn photography, and educating others about newborn safety is her highest priority as she moves forward with her business. Keri is scheduled to tour the U.S. over the next year mentoring and educating photographers in newborn photography and safety.
Keri opened her doors in the fall of 2008 and never looked back. She is a mom, wife and entrepreneur running her business from home so that she can be close to her young boys. She has a quant studio on her property in which she has photographed hundreds of newborns from the Greater Seattle area. In addition to her regular clientele, Keri has welcomed photographers from all over U.S., Canada and even Australia and New Zealand to mentor under her in her studio. As a former elementary teacher, with a master’s in education, education and encouraging others to grow has always been a core part of Keri.
Keri is a member of the Professional Photographers of America and National Association of Child Photographers. In 2010 Keri was awarded first place in the Newborn Division in the National Association of Child Photographers Image Competition. Keri has also earned first place two years running in her local community as best portrait photographer in King 5’s Best of Western Washington Contest in 2010 and 2011.
