I had the great pleasure of photographing Miss Summer this morning. For those of you that have been following my blog you probably know her story. Summer just turned two years old last week. She is undergoing treatment for a brain tumor and already has two surgeries under her belt at such a young age. This amazing little girl and family is such an inspiration.
Sweet Summer was feeling a little under the weather this morning as she is currently undergoing interferon treatment. Despite her feeling a little sleepy I was able to capture a very joyous and playful little girl. She is truly special. I feel blessed to have been able to photograph her and spend time with her family this morning.
Please take a moment to ready Summer’s story at http://summerclaire.blogspot.com/. And if you can, please head over to Run of Hope Seattle and make a tax deductible donation to help Summer’s family reach their goal.

Thank you Keri – these turned out beautifully. You are so talented! It was a pleasure to meet you. I can’t thank you enough for everything!
And to Nikki – the t-shirt is from NissaLisa on Etsy. I fell in love with her monsters and just had to have a t-shirt made for Summer’s monster-themed birthday party!
