Requirements | basic knowledge of Photoshop, a DSLR (it is assumed you know how to shoot in manual mode and have basic understanding of aperture, ISO and shutter speed), a 50mm lens, memory cards, macro lens and laptop. Macro and laptop are optional.

Please be advised all attendees are required to sign a Contract stating that they will refrain from teaching a newborn photography workshop or 1:1 mentoring for a minimum of 12 months after workshop date.

During your session you will have my undivided attention. You will be able to ask me all of your questions regarding posing, workflow and maintaining a successful newborn business. We will cover camera settings, metering, white balance and how to get the perfect exposure and best image SOOC. I’ll show you how to master posing, transitioning, soothing techniques and how to work with parents. We’ll dive into post processing and how to get those creamy skin tones.You’ll even get to put your skills into action with hands-on posing on day 2. You will be able to take all the images that you take during the workshop to build your online portfolio and for marketing purposes.

What you Need:
Basic knowledge of Photoshop (this is not an intro to Photoshop)
You must own a DSLR and KNOW your camera. It is assumed that you are comfortable shooting in manual mode and have a basic understanding of aperture, shutter speed and ISO settings.
A 50mm prime lens is suggested for the session as this is what Keri primarily uses with newborns.
You do not need a computer, but are welcome to bring a laptop if you would like to work along side me while I demonstrate post processing.
Please note that mentoring sessions and small groups classes are not available for those working or residing within 60 miles of zip code 98019.
