Introducing Baby Mason!

This little guy made his entrance into the world a couple weeks early – he was just so excited to meet parents and siblings! There certainly won’t be any shortage of love to go around for this sweet boy. With a big brother and two big sisters he is going to be well taken care of!

I first met this super sweet family when they came to me for maternity/family portraits before Mason arrived. It is always so wonderful getting to know the family prior to baby’s arrival – it makes meeting baby just a wee bit more special and exciting because I already know them. Mason’s mom, Suzy, sent me a cell phone pic of baby Mason after he arrived and right away I noticed his amazing black hair and olive skin. He is such a handsome boy and looks so much like his mom and big brother!

For Mason’s session we went with neutrals and greens and they complimented his complexion perfectly. Here are just a few of my favorites from Mason’s session…

What a sweet family! It definitely looks like little baby Mason will be loved and protected by his beautiful family. Gorgeous newborn session Keri!ReplyCancel

It’s your birthday, so have your cake and eat it, too!

This little cutie wasn’t so sure about being in front of the camera, but as soon as his cake was put down in front of him he didn’t even notice me and my camera. He was too busy eating and playing with his cake, as he should! A kid’s gotta take full advantage of being allowed to make a ginormous mess and filling up with cake. 😉

Way to go, Maddock! Wishing you a wonderful first birthday, buddy!

Welcome to the world, baby Dean!

We started Dean’s newborn photography session with sibling portraits. Big sister Evie joined Dean on the fluffy carpet for just a few shots and as you can see Dean camera ready! I like to do sibling shots first, so older siblings can take a break and get out of the hot studio. 😉

After the excitement of sibling photos Dean decided it was time for a snack and a nap while I finished up his individual newborn portraits. He curled up so sweetly on the moon prop.

Skyler is baby #4 for this sweet family. She also happens to be the second of the four that I have had the pleasure to photograph as newborns! It is always a huge compliment when past clients come back to the studio for more portraits.

When Mom mentioned the colors blue and turquoise for her session I was so excited! I hardly ever use those colors with girls and they happen to be some of my favorite colors for girls. I chose dusty blues, grays and creams (with just a pop of yellow) for Skyler’s newborn photography session and they complimented her skin so beautifully. I think my favorite outfits are those adorable polk-a-dot pants and soft gray romper. A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E.

Baby Conrad came in to the studio for his newborn photography session when he was just 5 days old – So fresh and so new to this world!

For Conrad’s session we went with a very rich color palette, lots of dark grey and rich browns. I love the way the dark colors make his fair skin pop. And how cute is he atop that little stump?!
